New Sentence!

In addition to "Hi, Daisy!" (said to both cats) and "Hi, Sissy!" (said to Emmy), you now have a third sentence. It is: "Bad Daisy!" And yes, you say it to the correct cat and yes, sadly, it was appropriate given the most recent interaction you had with Daisy.

I then trimmed Daisy's nails with you bellowing encouragement by saying both "Hi, Daisy!" and "Bad Daisy!".

Charlie needs to come over and teach Bella words.

Bella has "BOO!" and "Hi!" down. and that's about it.

But she's got motor skills for days. XD using non-sippy cups and forks.

Babies are so weird how they develop totally different and yet perfectly normal.

I KNOW! It's so funny! And then I spend time with Brooks and leave thinking, "GAH - Charlie's delayed!" He signs about 500 things. But then Ashley will call me and say, "I feel so badly about Brooks! He doesn't know how to climb up or down stairs and his motor skills - gross and fine - are nowhere near Charlie's".

So yep, there's a world of variation in child development and sometimes we get so focused we miss the forest for the trees.

Our girls are fine! And so is Brooks. I would say more, but I'm off to force Charlie to sign, "I'd like that muffin now, please".

Go Charlie go! Pretty soon you'll be reciting the Gettysburg Address.
