A Grain of Rice?
Apr. 25th, 2005 07:26 amI'm this sick and you're only the size of a grain of rice? I'm hoping it's at least wild rice...
Hey, you have your own blood type now!
Facial features are visible, including a mouth and tongue. The eyes have a retina and lens. The major muscle system is developed, and the unborn child practices moving. The child has its own blood type, distinct from the mother's. These blood cells are produced by the liver now instead of the yolk sac.
You are about 1/3 of an inch, the size of a grain of rice. Development of your arms and legs continue although your fingers and toes haven't yet formed. Your brain is growing as well as the lenses of your eyes, nostrils, intestines, pancreas and bronchi.
