Jan. 7th, 2006 02:38 pmWe've been on our own for a few days. We've had the best time. We've watched all six seasons of Sex and the City - because it's never too early to be a Cosmo girl. And you've spent a lot of time staring at the bannister and the fan. And you've also spent a lot of time in your swing. You love your swing.

jayest sent you the most adorable snowsuit!!! It's very soft and ploofy. It has cute little flaps that fold down over your fingers. AND, it's pink!!! I wonder how she knew we liked pink?Anyway, so many people here are so excited about you! Hurry up and be born already!!!
Oh, in other news, you now seem to be in a semi-sideways position - which is not terribly comfortable. If you're heading downhill, fine, I'll tolerate it. But if you're just toying with me here, Mommy's gonna be mad!
Your Baby Shower
Sep. 25th, 2005 04:22 pmEmily and I flew down to Seattle Thursday for your baby shower. My Favorite Aunt Betty came up from Florida. We had the festivities at your grandparents' house in Everett. The last time I was there was for our wedding - so that brought back lots of memories.
There were about 50 people at the shower. It was so nice. And I know lots of people were there for me and for you, but I also think people were showing their support for your dad. We got some adorable things - lots of pink!
We're very lucky to have so many good friends.

Coat and Hat
Aug. 27th, 2005 01:28 pmJust got back from the most amazing sidewalk sale at Beaver Sports. Found stuff for Nana, Grandma Joyce, Dad, and Emily. And then there, in front of the register, was the most perfect ensemble for you! So the doctors better not be wrong about that penis thing because you're wearing this no matter what! And, best of all, it was only $6!
